Boscobel House and Gardens, set on 45 acres in the town of Garrison, NY overlooking the magestic Hudson River, is a wonderful place to spend the day. I did so recently when the Cherry and the Dogwood trees were in full bloom. It was a beautiful Spring day, with a chill in the air, a little overcast but clear enough to get a few great shots of the amazing views of the Hudson Highlands.

Rose Garden, too early for their spectacular display, only a few tulips blooming in between the rose bushes at the time.

After a tour of the mansion, we went for lunch in the near by town of Cold Spring at
Brasserie Le Bouchon, wonderful little bistro.
